We developed our first Starlight Gaming Station, powered by Nintendo, in 1992. Fast forward 27 years later to 2019 and Stream For Starlight (S4S) launched, uniting gaming and streaming communities to help advance our mission. Today, S4S remains a vibrant and diverse community where creators stream happiness 365 days a year.
Celebrating Milestones and Impact
Since its inception, S4S has been an overwhelming success, with over 2,000 charity streamers raising an incredible $2.7 million for Starlight! The impact of the S4S community continues to grow each year. In 2024 alone, streamers united to raise
$473,000, enabling the delivery of 69 Gaming Stations to 60 hospitals across the country, delivering moments of happiness to countless kids and families.

Play Week
Why should we limit International Day of Play to just one day? Between June 5-14, brick-building and play-centered content creators across the U.S. will join forces to play, stream, and raise funds to support Starlight Toy Deliveries for seriously ill kids.
Where does the money go?
We work hard to receive the highest grades possible for accountability and transparency across all not-for-profit rating organizations. Starlight has earned a four-star rating from Charity Navigator for seven consecutive years, an achievement attained by only 13% of charities.
